1. Acceptance

By accessing or using swayambhu.example (the "Website", the "Service"), you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you disagree with any part, please discontinue use.

2. About the service

Swayambhu is a free educational platform providing study content, practice questions, mock tests, and performance analytics targeted primarily at aspirants preparing for the IBPS Specialist Officer (IT Officer) and similar banking/government IT exams. The Service is operated by Sharath (the "Operator", "I", "me") as a solo free-education project.

3. User accounts

  • You must provide accurate, current information when creating an account.
  • You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all activity under your account.
  • You may not share, sell, or transfer your account. Multiple people may not share a single account simultaneously.
  • I reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts at my sole discretion if they violate these Terms, attempt cheating/manipulation in mock tests, or abuse the service.

4. Acceptable use

You agree NOT to:

  • Copy, scrape, resell, or redistribute mock tests, PDFs, notes, or other study content outside the platform for commercial purposes.
  • Use any automation (bots, scripts) to cheat in tests, manipulate leaderboards, spam forms, or overload the server.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, admin areas, databases, or infrastructure.
  • Post or transmit unlawful, defamatory, abusive, infringing, or malicious content through any form.
  • Use the service to violate any applicable law or regulation.

5. Content license (platform → you)

  • All original study content — mock tests, practice sets, notes, explanations, PDF course materials — is licensed to you under a limited, personal, non-commercial, non-transferable, revocable license solely for your individual exam preparation.
  • You may download/print PDFs for personal use only. Mass redistribution, mirroring, or uploading to third-party sites (Telegram bots, PDF drives, other websites) without written permission is prohibited.
  • If you're a teacher/coach wanting to use content for a classroom, just ask — the answer is usually yes for educational (non-commercial) use.

6. User-generated content

  • If you submit content to the platform (contact-form messages, content contributions, suggested questions, etc.), you confirm it's yours to share and you grant Swayambhu a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, worldwide right to use, edit, publish, and adapt it for the Service (with credit where appropriate).
  • You agree that submitted content is not confidential and I have no obligation to keep it private.

7. Disclaimers — please read

  • No warranties. The service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind — express, implied, or statutory. I don't guarantee 100% uptime, error-free questions, or that any specific exam will match the content perfectly.
  • Educational content only. Mock tests, answer keys, explanations, and notes are written carefully but may contain occasional errors. Always cross-check with official syllabi, previous papers, and standard textbooks. The Operator is not liable for any answer discrepancies.
  • No guarantee of selection. Use of Swayambhu does not guarantee clearing any exam. Results depend on your effort, preparation, and many external factors.
  • Third-party links / services. If the site links to external resources (YouTube, PDFs hosted elsewhere, payment providers for donations), I'm not responsible for their content, practices, or availability.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — or any loss of marks, data, profits, or opportunity — arising from your use of (or inability to use) the service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Total aggregate liability under these Terms shall not exceed the total amount (if any) you donated to Swayambhu in the 12 months prior to the claim.

9. Donations

  • All donations are voluntary and non-refundable except as required by law or as stated on the Donate page (48-hour genuine-mistake refund via contact).
  • Donations are not payments for products or services. They are contributions to the continued operation and expansion of free educational content.
  • The Operator reserves the right to use donated funds at his discretion for any purpose related to the platform (hosting, content, AI credits, etc.).

10. Modifications to Terms

Material changes will be announced via a site banner for at least 30 days. Continuing to use the Service after the notice period means you accept the revised Terms.

11. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in your/Operator's city (Operator's choice in case of conflict). Both sides agree to first attempt good-faith resolution via the Contact page for 30 days before filing any formal proceeding.
